Stephanie Georgiou

Stephanie is a passionate psychologist who has always had a profound interest in eating disorders and the relationship between food, body image and mental health. She has worked with thousands of clients on a range of concerns including:

  • Eating disorders, 

  • OCD, Gambling & Addictions 

  • Borderline Personality Disorder

  • Depression & Anxiety

  • Clinical Perfectionism and Social Phobia

  • Trauma 

  • ADHD Assessment

She is trained in: 

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with Mindfulness and Acceptance

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), 

  • CBT-E For Eating Disorders

  • Eye Movement, Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Swinburne Bachelor of Arts (Honours) 

  • Master of Professional Psychology Practice

Sarah Van Der Pluym [Maternity Leave]

A hardworking and highly qualified General Psychologist who has considerable experience providing specialist tuition to children and adolescents in mainstream and special education. In 2018, was awarded a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Monash University and has been working with various complex needs in private practice settings. Has consistently demonstrated excellent interpersonal and written communication skills throughout academic and professional career and has developed strong analysis and research skills. Has valuable experience providing exceptional therapeutic care within a professional clinical psychology setting and takes pride in always adhering to the highest standards of ethical practice.

Sarah has experience working with children, adults & couples on a range of concerns including:

  • Relationship Difficulties

  • Couples Counselling 

  • Schizoaffective and mood disorders

Manya Scheftsik

Manya is a registered psychologist with over 20 years experience.

Manya will be the calm and reasonable that will guide you through your search for recovery, rehabilitation, resolution of distress and confusion. She will empower you to make sense of your life, and face those challenges that are potentially overwhelming.

Manya will assist you in figuring out what to do and how to have a good quality of life in the face of obstacles that might be undermining your mental health and well-being. She can guide you through loss, grieving, disappointment and shame to name only a few of those states and feelings that can make you wonder about your sanity.

Manya will help you to move forward while detecting and praising your efforts to change.

  • Mood disorders: depression, anxiety including trauma, schizophrenia and others.

  • Substance problems and addiction including; Ice, alcohol and prescription medications; gambling; financial stress; smoking cessation.

  • Preparation for bariatric surgery and aftercare

  • LGBTI-Q including pre-HRT assessment and transitioning

Tegan McKay

Tegan is a Provisional Psychologist in her final stage of becoming a fully registered Psychologist.

 

Tegan is passionate about supporting people from all walks of life, no matter their location – metro, regional and remote.

 

Tegan has experience working in acute and community mental health settings, as well as in the corrections sector.

 

Tegan has experience in working with adolescents and adults across the lifespan in both public and private settings.

 

Tegan is also passionate about developmental psychology and the various changes that occur throughout the lifespan.

 

Tegan will endeavour to make you feel heard, without judgement, while working with you to progress in the areas in life that you are struggling with.

She implements a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities that are specifically tailored for your needs.
