As a clinical psychologist, Stephanie is not able to prescribe medication. If medication is something you would like to explore, your GP or a psychiatrist would be the appropriate next step. If your assessment indicates ADHD, Stephanie will provide a letter and summary report you can share with them and can connect you with psychiatrists and specialist GPs who can guide you through the medication pathway.

Yes. A clinical psychologist is qualified to assess and diagnose adult ADHD. If your assessment indicates ADHD, you will receive a letter confirming your diagnosis that can be shared with your GP or a psychiatrist to support next steps such as medication or further treatment.

If you receive a diagnosis, you will be provided with a complimentary letter confirming it, along with a summary that can be sent to your GP or psychiatrist if needed. If you would like a full comprehensive written report, this is available for an additional cost of $1,000. A comprehensive report is not required to proceed with next steps after your assessment.

ADHD often co-occurs with experiences such as anxiety, depression, disordered eating or alcohol or substance use. The clinical interview will explore relevant context. If something else appears to be contributing to what you are experiencing, Stephanie will discuss this with you and offer recommendations for next steps. Please note, this is not an assessment for Autism, however you are welcome to discuss these concerns.
